Stargazing & Mountain Camping near Hangzhou

Astrophotography is my personal passion. Three hours' drive from Hangzhou, the mountains turn truly dark — dark enough to see the Milky Way with your own eyes. We drive up in the afternoon, set up camp, cook dinner outdoors, and spend the night under the stars. I bring the camping gear and my camera, and I'll help you take photos of the night sky and have fun with all the fantastic deepspace objects with a telescope.

Good to know before you book

Stargazing depends on the weather — we confirm or reschedule a day or two before, based on the forecast.
Mountain nights are cold even in summer; bring warm layers (I'll send a packing list).
The best skies are around the new moon; I'll suggest dates when we plan.
Moderate fitness is enough — short walks on uneven ground, no serious hiking required.
Suitable for families; children should be comfortable sleeping in a tent.
